BrainGrid

Privacy Policy

How BrainGrid handles account and service data.

This policy explains the information BrainGrid stores to operate, secure and support the service.

Information you provide

BrainGrid may store your name, email address, account preferences, work profile, objectives, support requests and the content you choose to create in the service.

Credentials and sessions

Passwords are stored as one-way salted derived hashes rather than readable password text. Authenticated sessions use server-side hashed session tokens and protected browser cookies.

How information is used

Information is used to provide and personalize BrainGrid, maintain account sessions, secure the service, respond to support requests, operate billing when enabled and maintain service integrity.

Billing information

When online billing is enabled, BrainGrid may store payment-service customer and subscription identifiers needed to reconcile account status. Raw payment-card fields are not part of the BrainGrid application database.

Account closure

Under the late-payment policy, an account that reaches 45 days overdue is closed. Data associated with that closed account is lost and is not restored into a newly created account.

Security

BrainGrid applies server-side account, session and database controls intended to reduce unauthorized access and protect service integrity.

Questions and corrections

Privacy questions or requests to correct account information can be submitted through the BrainGrid contact form.
